I am excited to share my experience with the SPARK program of APAR Health and its director, Dr. Pooja Sharma. Dr. Sharma took me on an eye-opening tour to visit Bio Nest, a state-of-the-art facility (Bionest) where budding entrepreneurs utilize world-class resources to turn their
dreams into reality.
The visit was a transformative experience that significantly impacted my perspective on my future career choices.
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the invaluable support and guidance I received from the SPARK program, particularly from Dr. Pooja Sharma.
However, under the expert mentorship of Dr. Sharma, things started falling into place. Through simple and clear steps, Dr. Sharma not only helped me navigate the complexities of academic writing but also provided valuable insights on enhancing the quality of my work. Her suggestions for small changes in the article’s title transformed the entire study, making it more impactful and impressive.
Influence of Social Media on Antimicrobial
Resistance (AMR) Awareness
The SPARK course is a great initiative for beginners who are new to the world of research. The concepts are explained in a crisp and student friendly manner. For e.g., the difference between case control study and cohort study explained in the format of snapshot and a movie respectively is a great example of this.

I really enjoyed being a part of the SPARK Program! Every step was rewarding: the online modules, the physical exposure and experiences, and the actual writing of the manuscript. The team at APARhealth were extremely supportive throughout my experience, with regular meetings to discuss the research question, methods, and general processes, and there was never a moment where I felt like I couldn't reach out for help, right up to the last moment, when I finished writing my manuscript and sent it for publishing. Thank you for making my journey of high school research possible!
